It’s Freakin’ Halloween

October is just flying by me this year, and before I know it, our first big school event will be happening. Last year, I was kinda geeked about joining the PTA even though it became a little stressful near the end, and now I’m not feeling it anymore. I’m not sure what changed, but there isn’t as much enthusiasm this time around. Still I feel a little obligated since we don’t get a lot of action from other families. My point here is that Halloween is being sucked away from me!

Yesterday we had our annual Pumpkin Patch Pilgrimage, which includes saying hi to some goats and feeding chickens. It’s sort of enchanting being to drive 15 minutes out of town to a lovely local farm for our holiday procurements. Is that what people always dream of when they imagine having a family? Am I taking this for granted?

I’m going through it, y’all! Apologies!
